Uber Meets Lahore.

Hello Everyone! Hope all of you beautiful people are doing great!

This post is going to be a bit different. I am sure all of you have heard about Uber, the hip transport these days. 

Team Uber Pakistan with Warda 

So on the 29th of March, 2017, my sister Warda and I were invited by Lotus PR to meet with team of Uber Pakistan at The Lahore Social. A very exclusive event where an in-depth brief about the company and how it plans to aid the public of Pakistan was discussed.

We were welcomed by the Team of Uber, Mr.Safee Shah, (General Manager), Mr. Rahim Javed (Marketing Head) and Miss Amna Asim, (Marketing Manager).

They were very forthcoming and interactive. Shared with us how the company operates, how the system is kept up-to-date and what security measures are taken to ensure the safety of both the rider and drivers.Team Uber was very excited about the lowest rate their UberAuto charges, approximately Rs 80/-. Well that’s great isn’t and it also supports the second part of  their Mission Statement: “Make transportation as reliable as running water, everywhere, for everyone.”

It's been a year since Uber has been introduced in Lahore and the day of the meet-up marked the company’s anniversary. Yay! The Team also stated that Lahore is the fastest growing market. Wohoo!!

The fun part is the Uber Rickshaw! It has definitely caught our eye! Seems affordable, hassle free and practical. We will be using Uber very soon.
